Although he is still only 19, he has been cooking up dope beats for some years. It could be that 2007 will be the year that he gets the recognition he deserves..

As the title suggests, Wantage producer Reeplay is offering you all an invitation - “this album is the start of my journey”. ‘Come With Me’ is due for release in early February and is the first of 3 albums planned for release this year.

The album features a number of talented MCs, Melodiq, Nelace, Shinobi all adding their vocals to his beats. They have come together as a collective called Civil Mics Movement. The album is a real collaborative project even down to the artwork which is done by Laureye, a talented artist from Southampton.

I asked Reeplay how he would describe the album - “it’s like a film, and films sorta take you on journeys hence ‘Come With Me’. Each track is like a interpretation of a certain emotion or event, but through a musical perspective”.
