Cut&Paste Digital Design Tournament 2007
Cut&Paste was born in New York City back in November 2005. At the time 850 people came out to witness the first, live digital design tournament. Elbow to elbow, they packed a bar with designers winding wrists, judges taking their positions, a crowd swelling with drinks, gadgets warming up, and an immense energy that ran through speakers and skin. Since then, Cut&Paste is finding new faces and homes, making moves to continue its modus operandi.
Well, that was the blurb from the organizers, here is some info about the Cut&Paste Tourament:
Watch as eight designers go head to head, Wacom to Wacom. For the crown, they’ll have to spin an idea with their own style in three, 15-minute rounds as projectors stream their living designs across the venue.
Each designer is equipped with an Apple® MacPro Workstation, Adobe® Creative Suite 3, and a Wacom® Cintiq® interactive pen display.
Try your own round at a workstation onsite for a shot at our Audience Design Contest. If you’re stuck at home, tune in via global webcast. Five all-star judges will make the call for the Jury Prize, but all will have the chance to vote for an Audience Prize online or by SMS.
