This is the pre-release of the first mix in a four-part series previewed exclusively on Perfilo coming from UK DJ/Producer Ghost. The four-part series features tracks that best represent him. Part 1 kicks off with instrumental Hip Hop/Trip Hop which finds its way to electronica towards the latter half. A real treat.

This has been a long time coming but here’s the podcast. I wanted to hook up one of my favourite DJ’s with this first so she could play it exclusively. She’s been supporting me and my music all the way from San Francisco for a number of years. And for that i thought she should have this before anyone else.

This mix represents the first installment of a 4 part series (if you know your music you’ll understand why) and is essentially a collection of music that best represents me.

Part 1 is a mix of old and new, mainly instrumental Hip Hop/Trip Hop and turns towards some electronica at the end.

I Appreciate people know me first and foremost for my Hip Hop, but with this mix series i want to show that although Hip Hop is where my heart is at, i’ve been influenced by a lot of different music over the years.

The vibe of all the tunes featured here can be heard/found in a lot of music genre’s, just dont be afraid to open up and listen. I remember being such a Hip Hop fanatic as a kid i wouldnt listen to anything else! True i learnt a lot about Hip Hop, the culture and way of life and i’ll always love it, but now i appreciate that music has so much to offer i don’t want to limit myself to any one genre.

Anyway enough talk, the most important thing is that you enjoy it!
