Bop is a Drum and Bass / Experimental producer from Saint-Petersburg, and he’s sick. I first heard him on the Hospital Records Podcast ’Number 64 - Your Demos’ with a track titled ’Song About My Dog’. On checking his myspace I was pleased to find he’d dropped a mini-mix of his own and collaborative tracks, so I thought I’d share the wealth. ‘Deeper Than Deep’ is 30 minutes long, and does a very good job of leaving you wanting more…

His stuff kinda reminds me of old Aphex Twin, but a bit less intense, more melodic and spacey with a touch of D&B. You’ll really have to check it out for yourself though as my words don’t do it justice, Bop makes simply stunning music.
