When Reeplay mentioned that he’d like us to host his debut Album ‘Come With Me’ as an exclusive free download through Blunted we clearly jumped at the chance. We think this is such a good look and should give the young producer more of what he deserves - exposure. Reeplay is an English-born, Oxford-bred producer, he was raised on Hip Hop and makes beats that sound like they would’ve if he were making music 10-15 years ago. Golden era stuff.

His first album is a collection of tracks featuring many of the members from The Civil Mics Movement crew, plus some special guests. Having a large number of collaborations under his belt, Reeplay felt it was time to get these tracks of the boards and into the public realm, and what better way to do that than with an album. ‘Come With Me’ is a Funk, Jazz and Soul influenced Hip Hop collection, with each artist demonstrating their own unique and distinctive influences and sounds.

The concept was to make an album reflect the feelings you get when you watch a film, or take a journey. Each song represents a different feeling in the movie, as in an intense bit, or a bit that leaves you feeling inspired. All the tracks actually turned out better than I had ever imagined, but the concept was lost along the way!
