Same old, same old mixes
So you’re bored of the same mixes you’ve managed to get from one of the many sites offering all the essential mixes, you make a point of listening to the ooh, two relevant radio shows the BBC has to offer, you maybe see one mix a week you’re feeling from mates passing it round the internet, you check the Blunted website every so often for the BITS! mixes, and there’s only so much you can listen to when your bored at work.
Fear No More!
RBMA Radio was born out of the Red Bull Music Academy (10 years old this year!). Set up with the assistance of Karen P (after she left Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide show) it has gone from strength to strength streaming some amazing artist-led mixes, interviews and even academy lectures from a hugely diverse range of musicians, DJs and producers both established and emerging talents. Seriously, you can literally listen to this 24 hours a day for a year and still not have listened to everything that might interest you.
